September 2024 · 3 minute read

In a social media post, actor Ian Ziering referred to the physical altercation he had with a bunch of mini bikers on Hollywood Boulevard on Sunday as “hooliganism.”

One day following the event, Ziering posted on Instagram about how one of these riders approached his car aggressively while he was stalled in traffic, resulting in an uncomfortable altercation.

The actor from “Beverly Hills, 90210” claimed that as things became heated and turned physical, he got out of his car to see what damage was done.

Ziering is seen pushing and confronting one of the mini-bikers who was obstructing his car in the video of the altercation that TMZ was able to obtain.

Soon after, Ziering is surrounded by a number of the mini-bikers when one of them appears to punch the actor in the face. While sprinting across the street in the direction of safety, Ziering can be seen fending off other bikers.

In another video, he can be seen comforting his daughter on the street as the mob finally moves away.

Ziering said that he was happy to report that neither his daughter nor he had suffered any injuries, but the event has made him very concerned about the increasing audacity of those groups that jeopardize public safety and tranquility.

The 59-year-old “Sharknado” actor asked for “effective law enforcement” to assist in resolving what he perceived to be a wider issue and dubbed the incident “hooliganism.”

He wished his followers, family, and friends a happy new year as he concluded his Instagram post.

In the unsettling footage, Ziering can be seen slamming with a motorcyclist who had positioned his motorcycle in front of his vehicle. It’s unknown what got him to throw the punch.

It’s also unclear if the actor’s car and one of the motorcyclists collided. The victim may have been knocked to the ground by Ziering’s blow, according to TMZ’s source.

The other motorcyclists attacked him after the swing, punching him multiple times. Ziering Hat escapes, and the bikers in masks and helmets come after him. Ziering was seen being held down by one attacker while another attempted to trip him but was unsuccessful.

While numerous bystanders observed and recorded them from the sidewalk, they did not assist. One of the riders held Ziering in place while he kept escaping. He was attacked by two of the motorcyclists, one of whom was female.

Ziering returns to his car and drives off, eventually managing to escape. It is said that at the time, no police were sent to the location.

Demanding Law and Order on LA Streets, Actor Ian Ziering roars against Biker Chaos

Following the alarming event involving bikers, actor Ian Ziering expressed grave concern over the growing audacity of disruptive gangs. He emphasized the need for efficient law enforcement responses to such disruptions while highlighting the larger problem of street hooliganism.

Regarding Ziering’s encounter and whether an incident report was made, however, officials from the Los Angeles Police Department could not be reached for comment.

Citizen and father Ziering denounced the state of affairs, saying it is not acceptable for some organizations to incite disorder and panic while the government appears to be doing little to stop it.

In an Instagram post, he emphasized the significance of community and personal safety while speaking out against intimidation and misbehaviour.

Asserting that such behaviours should be confronted with appropriate legal and law enforcement interventions to safeguard the safety and security of persons and communities, the actor’s worries highlight the necessity for more forceful measures to counter such disturbances in public settings.
