Beauty lovers are raving about a luxurious shower oil that is a perfect dupe for a designer version worth almost half the price - and it's set to go on special. 

Woolworths shoppers are claiming the Thanks to Nature Nourish Sweet Almond Shower Oil is near-identical to L'Occitane's $39 Almond Shower Oil. 

The Woolies-exclusive 250ml shower oil is normally $20 but will be reduced to just $10 from Wednesday September 28 until Tuesday October 4.

One bottle of L'Occitane's almond shower oil sells every 15 seconds worldwide so Aussie customers have been racing to get their hands on the budget dupe.

Shoppers are calling the shower oil 'amazing' and 'lovely' and one woman shared how she nabbed a bottle for only $12 online. 

'I finally found a dupe for the L'Occitane almond shower oil. This is normally $20 picked it up yesterday for $12, it's great,' she wrote in a post on Facebook. 

Hundreds were impressed by the bargain find and said they were 'running' to their nearest Woolworths while other shared their reviews of the product.

'Omg if it smells the same I'm sold. Going to see if my Woolies even stocks it!' one woman said while another wrote: 'Adds to cart immediately.'

'It doesn't foam up and yes turns milky white when you rub your hands together. Feels very delicious and nourishing,' one user said. 

'Only thing is I feel like I went through it quite quickly but it was my first time using an oil so may have gone a bit too wild with it,' she added.

'I still use body wash but before I finish my shower I lather this oil on, rinse off them pat dry. My skin feels so soft and silky. It has a light almond smell but not too over powering. A lovely light body oil wash,' a second
