Tragedy struck a family of ten who were camping in Idaho after a tree came down on top of their tent, killing an eight-year-old girl who was an identical twin.
The Eastin family from Paul, Idaho were at the Boise National Forest Pine Campground last weekend when a rotting cottonwood tree crashed down on top of the tent, killing Cadence Eastin and the family's pet dog, Sybil.
Deputies from the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office rushed to the scene but the girl was pronounced dead shortly after when attempts to revive her proved unsuccessful.
Cadence was with her parents, Quin and Natasha Eastin and seven siblings, including Cadence's twin London, when the tragedy occurred.

Police have consulted with Boise National Forest officials in order to determine an official cause of the tree falling.
The area in which the tree fell had been burned during the Elk and Pony complex fires in 2013.
It left several burned-out trees which over time had cause them to erode leaving them unstable.
A GoFundMe page says the family are utterly devastated by the loss.

'Cadence was a truly special child. In addition to always having a cheerful, happy nature, she was known for having a perpetual and warm smile.
'She loved animals and they loved her. It is especially revealing that the family dog was curled up next to her when the tree fell taking both of their lives,' the family wrote in a tribute.
'Cadence was bright, intelligent and an eager to learn student. Curiously, she almost always hung out with the adults at family gatherings and seemed to have been gifted with a higher intellect than would normally be expected of an 8-year old child. Being raised in a Christian family, she was taught to be kind to others, made friends easily and avoided quarreling with others.'
So far the page has raised more than $28,000 to help pay for the funeral costs.
