Alabama boat brawlers Zachery Shipman and his girlfriend Mary Todd have been pictured for the first time after being released from jail.

The two had handed themselves into police in Montgomery, Alabama, after shocking footage seen by millions online show two groups of people fighting on a dock.

The brawl was allegedly started when the group of white boaters became enraged after being asked to move their boat on the dock to make room for a riverboat.

Shipman is one of four men facing assault charges, and his girlfriend Mary Todd was charged with assaulting a black riverboat crew co-captain.

The two have since been released and have been seen for the first time since leaving a gas station at around 9am Saturday morning in exclusive DailyMail.com pictures.

When approached with questions, Shipman said 'I can't talk at all' - while Todd quickly got into the car without saying a word.

Zachery Chase Shipman, 25, one of four men facing assault charges over the viral video that has been seen by millions Shipman's girlfriend, Mary Todd, is believed to be the woman seen in the viral video kicking Damien Pickett after he was downed in the melee. She turned herself into Montgomery cops Thursday and was charged with third degree assault

Todd and Shipman are charged with assault along with 48-year-old Richard Roberts - who is accused of punching 16-year-old Daniel Warren by the boy's mother - in the incident, with cops saying the investigation is still ongoing.

The boy's mother, Crystal Warren, says she heard one of the attackers say 'f**k that n*****' before launching into a brawl with the black deckhand at the center of the shocking incident.

She told police that she saw the entire interaction and has revealed she heard one of the white aggressors threatening to go and get a gun, according to legal documents obtained by TMZ

Police have also charged Allen Todd, 23, and announced today they had brought charges against Reggie Ray, 42.

Officials had announced they had been looking to speak with Ray, who is the black man who was seen hitting people with a folding chair.

Ray was charged with one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct in the August 5 incident, according to CNN

In the video, men are seen gouging eyes and hurling punches to each others' heads, and several people are seen using folding chairs as weapons - including one man who leaves a woman stricken on the floor after battering her with the seat.

Multiple angles of the wild brawl have emerged after it was widely circulated on social media last month.

It appeared to begin when the riverboat's deckhand, Damien Pickett, 31, squared off with a member of the white boat party after he asked them to move.

Pickett flung his hat in the air in anticipation of a brawl, before the scene quickly escalated as the pair exchanged blows.

At that point, another white man in red shorts tackles Pickett to the floor, before several others join the fray.

While some tried to flee and others jumped into the skirmish, a teenager dived into the water to swim across the river and join the fight.

In separate footage filmed from inside the riverboat, Gray was seen brutally smashing a chair over a man's head.

In an interview with The Daily Beast, river cruise captain Jim Kittrell said the white men must have attacked Pickett because of his race.

'The white guys that attacked my deckhand—and he was a senior deckhand first mate—I can't think of any other reason they attacked him other than it being racially motivated,' Kittrell said.

'All he did was move their boat up three feet. It makes no sense to have six people try to beat the snot out of you just because you moved their boat up a few feet,' he said.

'In my opinion, the attack on Damien was racially motivated,' Kittrell explained, before adding that the rest of the fight 'was not black and white.'

The captain added that his crew would have stood up for Pickett, who is reportedly over 40 and a diabetic with hypertension, against anyone.

Kittrell - and police - say it all started when a private boat owner and his family took the designated docking space for the Harriott, a tourist vessel that takes passengers up and down the Alabama river.

Despite the claims it was a racially motivated incident, earlier this week DailyMail.com spoke with Melissa Calvert, the mom of Zachery Shipman

She said:  'Everybody is just trying to stir up s**t. That's all that's happening. This wasn't a racial thing, that's well known. But now some are trying to say that it was.'

Montgomery mayor Steven Read said the fight was 'brought on by reckless individuals who did not use good judgment and caused an event that was avoidable'.
